- such as banana and other juicy fruit (apple, plum)
Substrate:
- Cetoniidae - as far as 100% leaves
- Dynastidae - 50% leaves / 50% rotten wood
- Lucanidae - as far as 100% rotten wood
Boxes:
- for one pair of medium Cetonid beetles 30x30x30cm
- for one pair of bigger beetles 50x40x40cm is minimum
- for one medium Cetoniidae larva box of capacity 1 liter
- for one medium Lucanidae larva box of capacity 2 liter
- for one larva of Dynastidae box of capacity 3 liter and more
Lighting:
- yes, for Flower beetles yes
- is not necessary for Rhinoceros and Stag beetles, which are active during the night
